The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy

This is another series written by Douglas Adams. He is one author who did not get the credit he deserved. His insanely crazy stories are confusing enough to keep you tounge-tied, while the jokes are just EPIC(Flying is the knack of aiming at the ground and missing). Each story is one adventure after another, featuring Arthur Dent, the very unlucky human who got  into all this trouble unwantedly. The story is in itself simple. When Earth gets demolished for a Hyperspace bypass which won't be no longer necesarry' Arthur manages to escape with his friend(or alien) Ford Prefect. Travelling across time, space and probality axises, they get into weird adventures(like how to catch a chair on ancient Earth) which are just......well.......crazy.This series deserves a 9.5 on 10. And please don't watch the movie first.

Artemis Fowl

Written by Eoin Colfer, this is one of the most popular books on the market now. There are 7 books in all, more being written by our elusive author.(Go to artemisfowl.co.uk for more info!). The novels are about the boy genius Artemis Fowl, aided by his faithful bodygaurd Butler. He uses his brain for evil work, following the footsteps of his father. He even exploits the technologically-advanced fairies to his advantage. But as the story progresses he becomes a good guy. There are are mind-blowing action scenes and technology involved. There is also a lack of quality in the last two books of the series.  But nevertheless I would rate this book a 9 on 10. And for the secrets, just read the book. And no, please don't read the comic version of it.
